Teknomelt Offers Range of
Meltblown and Spunbond
Turkish nonwovens producer Teknomelt,
has recently added to its meltblown output with the launch of an abrasive material
grade that allows the company to offer dual-sided substrates.
These materials have one smooth side
and one textured side for an abrasive effect
in workshop and industrial applications to
remove dirt and grease from hands and surfaces. Teknomelt’s other meltblown products
include materials for wipes with a crow’s
foot pattern and diamond patterns as well
as standard meltblown materials that can be
enhanced to add strength and tear resistance
for challenging applications.
In addition to meltblown, Teknomelt
makes spunbond nonwovens, an area where
company has made some investments in the
past year, namely in the hygiene and medical
applications. Teknomelt also offers spunmelt
wipes with softness and low lint properties.
With its wipe product range, Teknomelt
provides either customized mini rolls or
jumbo rolls for further customization for
Honest Recalls Baby Wipes
The Honest Company is voluntarily recalling
certain lots of wipes. This product is distributed in the U.S. and Canada.
Some of these wipes are also included in
Honest Diaper Cakes, Baby Basics Gift Set
and Baby Arrival Gift Set. Certain lots of
wipes are being recalled due to the possible
presence of mold. The company believes the
affected product is not likely to cause adverse
health consequences, however, impacted
wipes do have a spotted discoloration and
the aesthetics are unacceptable. Out of caution, The Honest Company has decided to
voluntarily recall certain lots of this product.
No other products of The Honest Company are impacted by this recall.
Consumers may return affected product to
their point of purchase for a full refund. For

Bemax Expands Online Sales
Bemax Inc., a growing global distributor of
disposable baby diapers, has announced that
it has begun sales of its private label disposable diapers on its website, www.bemaxinc.
com/webstore. The company also sells its diapers through Amazon.
Bemax will extend sales of its private label
diapers to other online selling platforms, including Shopify and Amazon UK, to support
and extend online sales to other markets outside the U.S.
Bemax will continue to source for viable
financing to fund inventory, distribution and
marketing as it extends its online sales and
manufacturing network to provide opportunities for competitive pricing to its customers.
Bemax will start shipment of its private label disposable diapers to customers this week.

Low & Bonar Opens Testing Lab
Low & Bonar has opened a test lab aimed
at developing new and enhanced filtration
solutions to meet the increased demands for
cleaner industrial and automotive in Arnhem, Netherlands.
Performance materials company Low &
Bonar intends to escalate the rate at which
proprietary technology is turned into market-adopted filtration applications at the new
Arnhem Centre of Expertise.
Working directly with the customers of
its premium brand BonarPure, the lab will
incubate and test ideas based on market insights, creating and implementing prototype
